Amelia's and Oliver's "penny bet" and Amelia's related goals
The "bet"
By or on December 12, 2012 (perhaps around 12:12pm, for the run!):
- Amelia will run a 12 minute/mile. (A fast walk is a 15 minute/mile, or 4 mph).
- Amelia will (be able to) bike upright with the kids to school and come back before they both are done at DeWitt Middle School (by June ~25, 2015).

Notes on further biking aims, and "fodder for more penny bets":
- Amelia to ride her racing upright (red Felt) indoor trainer daily (with help mounting) for Oct. 2011 through March 2012.
- Ride outdoors "around the block" in summer 2012 on an upright and therefore rack up 10-15 miles/week in 2012.
- Continue indoor/ winter training and get stronger and steadier to ride outdoors:
- moderate amount in 2013 (20-30 miles/week)
- moderate amount in 2014 and Reunion Ride
- more aggressive riding in 2015 (+BTC) and 2016 (STTS). For example, club rides, "long" solo rides, and up to 50 miles/week.
Notes for running:
- in 2013, work up to and maintain 20 miles/week.
- in 2014, run marathon (in Redwoods, CA).
